What I learned today

Did you know that among the many, many verses of the British national anthem there is nestled a little verse that goes like this:

Lord grant that Marshal Wade
May by thy mighty aid
Victory bring.
May he sedition hush,
And like a torrent rush,
Rebellious Scots to crush.
God save the King!

For my Scottish ancestors I am personally affronted. Stupid 18th century imperialists...
